Life after Grey’s Anatomy is certainly not flatlining for Justin Chambers.
The actor—who played Dr. Alex Karev for 16 seasons on the long-running medical drama—revealed he’s become more selective about his roles since hanging up his scrubs.
“I’m choosing to follow my heart in all my artistic and commercial pursuits,” Justin told Us Weekly in an interview published Oct. “I really prefer being part of good storytelling, no matter how long it is. For me, it’s not about the quantity, it’s about the quality of the story and the acting.”
