Unterwegs auf seiner neuen Skiroute durch’s Snow Space Salzburg
Der zweifache Olympiasieger, dreifache Weltmeister und vierfache Gesamtweltcup Sieger Hermann Maier zählt auch zehn Jahre nach seinem Karriereende zu den erfolgreichsten und bekanntesten Wintersportlern Österreichs. Dem unverkennbar mit der Region verwurzelten Skistar ist seit dieser Saison eine neue Skiroute im Snow Space Salzburg gewidmet.
Mit über Höhenmetern, 35 Pistenkilometern und 20 Seilbahnen kann an einem Tag das Skigebiet Snow Space Salzburg, in Flachau, Wagrain und St. Johann erkundet werden. Auf den Spuren des Skistars führen Wegweiser durch das Skigebiet, hin zu den schönsten Plätzen, den sportlichsten Highlights sowie den besten Panoramablicken.
Am Donnerstag, den Jänner wurde die neue Tour im Beisein der Skilegende höchstpersönlich eröffnet. Gemeinsam mit ausgewählten Journalisten sowie den Vorständen des Snow Space Salzburg fuhr Hermann Maier die neue, nach ihm benannte Tour durch’s Skigebiet ab. Hermann ‘The Herminator' Maier is a true symbol of modern day skiing and is one of the most established champions of Alpine ski racing, taking the sport to levels previously unseen. Born on December 7th near Salzburg, Austria, Maier has won everything there is to win and continues to enjoy the sport well into his thirties.
